Finally, here is the video I talked about making the other day. This is my first serious attempt at editing and I’m happy with it for the most part. Next time, I’m going to play with the audio to see if I can remove, or at least reduce, the wind noises near the microphone. Let me know what you think and how I can make improvements.
Guess what I did today?
Sorry for the washed out image, but I just had to share, like I’m a proud mama showing off her baby. This is my Zeke. Okay, truthfully he’s only mine for the two hour rental. But it sort of counts, right?
Don’t let his laid back apprearance fool you. My Zeke flies like the wind. You know the saying, “Give him and inch and he’ll take a mile?” Well, give this equine an open beach, point him in the right direction and hang on, ’cause Zeke can turn it on.
You will be happy to know I can stick to a horse. No face full of sand for me. And I had to arrive back to the barn dry and smiling. My family was waiting.

Argh! I missed posting this by two minutes. So much for NaBloPoMo for me. Rats.
We had a lovely walk on the beach today, which I captured on video. After our holiday dinner, I edited it, adding lovely special effects, title and end credits. So easy! Saved it with no problems.
What isn’t so lovely is that I can’t upload it to YouTube because the file isn’t recognized, or some such Windows Movie Maker nonsense. The kitchen still wants cleaning, the kids are playing “I’m not sleepy, I’d much rather wrestle,” and Doc is no where to be found. He disappeared an hour ago with a belly ache.
Not good. Considering my youngest threw up earlier.
Other than that, it’s been a lovely holiday.
